Google Employees Express Major Concerns With Bard
A new report from Bloomberg interviewing 18 current and former Google employees details Google's Bard AI chatbot. The interviews reveal that AI ethics teams were "disempowered and demoralized" so Google could rush the development of Bard. Employees called Bard "cringe-worthy," "a pathological liar," and "worse than useless." According to Bloomberg, AI ethics reviews are "almost entirely voluntary" at Google.
